I think that I see something deeper, more infinite, more eternal than the ocean in the expression of the eyes of a little baby when it wakes in the morning and coos or laughs because it sees the sun shining on its cradle. -Vincent Van Gogh
We met up with this expectant couple at the old train station in Orange, Texas. When Kimberly had asked me to do her shoot, she asked me specifically to use the train station downtown, because it had sentimental value…her dad used to work at the train station when her parents found out they were expecting HER! It held special memories for her, and I thought it was so fun and special to use that same location. She also mentioned she loved the idea of the rustic feel of the locale, and the architecture offered some structural interest. She is a glowing mommy-to-be, and they are both delighted to become “mom and dad” to this baby in just a few weeks! I also cannot wait to meet their little one; already blessed with such a wonderful set of parents.
