“I’ve had a crush on him since 5th grade”, says bride-to-be Amy, about her fiancé Justin! This sweet and loving couple has come a long way since 5th grade, but you can tell that they are still head over heels. I love their longtime love story, and was delighted to take their engagement photos. We began at a private location, where we snapped the canoe photos, then we headed to downtown Orange, Texas, to finish up their session. Amy and Justin love to have fun, and say their ideal date night is to “eat and talk to each other one-on-one”, or to see a funny movie together. They met at church youth group, and have been dating since 2009. Justin asked Amy to marry him on the 18th hole at a golf course, and of course, she said YES (and take a look at that beautiful ring!). As you can see, they have quite a height difference (she is just five feet, and he is over six feet tall), but they are adorable, and so in love! Justin graduated in 2014 from Sam Houston State University, with a degree in business administration with a specialization in PGA professional golf management. Amy graduated in 2015 from Texas A&M University with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, and is certified to teach any subject from Kindergarten through 6th grade & 4th through 8th grade Math and Science. She will be attending University of North Texas starting in the fall to pursue a Masters in Speech Pathology. Amy says she loves, “fishing with her daddy, traveling and trying new things”, and Justin says he loves to make her laugh, but also loves guitar and golf. The weather was a little inclement for our time together, but we never let a little sprinkle stop us!
Congratulations, Justin and Amy! Wishing you many more years of happiness and love. For more engagement sessions and love stories, you can click here.
