“Now join your hands, and with your hands your hearts.” -William Shakespeare
What a fun day with this sweet couple! I enjoyed capturing the beginning of their life together. Amy was a gorgeous bride and truly married her childhood sweetheart (you can read their love story here, and see their engagement session). I loved the rustic feel of the decorations that Amy choose for her wedding day…the sunflowers, burlap, and boots. Every detail was carefully thought-through, which made for a perfect day. All the little touches; the jenga blocks, to the date night, to posting your favorite scripture in the Bible, a table of old timey games to play, to writing letters and placing in a box for them to read on their one year anniversary …such great memories were made! They all exuded their fun personalities.
When Amy & Justin begin their engagement journey, she started a journal and wrote special memories in it throughout their engagement, adding pictures to celebrate those milestones. On the day of the wedding, Amy presented Justin with the journal of those special memories. Certainly it was a gift he will treasure always. The reception was held at a local country club where it was beautifully decorated with more rustic decor. It was definitely a night to remember and I wish the very best for this sweet couple as they begin their life together.
