Why do milestone sessions? I hear this often. Parents sometimes are under the impression that they only need photos once a year of their sweet babies. I know that photos can be expensive and a real investment, especially if you’re on a tight budget. Milestone sessions are some of my favorites, especially when they begin to develop their own individual personalities. Beckette is a sweetie, and a very happy little girl. You can see her newborn session here! We had fun with the strawberries (yummy!)…nothing says “summer” like fresh berries, and her little berry themed outfit was adorable. We were also able to incorporate one of my new props into the session: the little white, leather couch! It adds such a sweet, pretty feel, and I can’t wait to add it into more sessions in the future! She wore the cutest little dress that her Mom bought for her; she wore it in a wedding recently, and we got to have her wear it again for this! We wrapped our session with gorgeous fresh flowers, and she loved playing with them! “Beckette is at such a fun stage! She has such a HUGE personality, which can be tiresome at times, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. She doesn’t meet a stranger and loves being around anybody and everybody”, her mom shared with me, “She has the sweetest demeanor and loves to be held. She loves to chase her pups around the house in her walker, and will laugh out loud for hours! It is so rewarding being her mother, because she is always so happy and always laughing. Seeing your baby happy; there is no greater feeling in life. It makes every tear worth it, and it is reassurance that I am doing something right. She not only brings joy to my world, but everybody that she encounters. Her smile will brighten anybody’s day!”
