Throughout the year, I offer several opportunities for my clients to do mini-sessions. When I offered the “Sweet & Simple” mini sessions, Miah’s mommy booked hers right away. It was the perfect session for her little sweetie. Miah is a beautiful baby girl, and she was a dream to photograph. She is also named after her late Uncle Jeremiah, which makes this session extra special. “Our sweet Miah came at a perfect timing for our family”, says her mommy, “She is named after her late Uncle Jeremiah, who we lost way to soon back in February. We couldn’t decide on a name for our baby girl and nothing seem to fit. God knew what this little girls name should be all along but we just didn’t know it. She was the only joy we had to look forward after losing Jeremiah. So taking the last four letters of his name was the perfect name for our Miah Marie.”

I utilized lots of dainty little details for her session, hence the name “Sweet & Simple”! I kept lots of clean lines and neutral tones alongside the dainty textures and lace, and made sure Miah’s lovely features and little expressions were the focus. Her mom added, “Becoming a mom is the greatest gift and greatest love I’ve ever had. God is so amazing. I thought I knew what love was, but I was wrong…the love for your kids is the best feeling in the world, and our family is now complete.”
