Sometimes, just one piece of clothing or a prop can inspire a whole session! My vision included yellow flowers and this beautiful vintage dress. I picked this adorable, prairie inspired dress several months ago, and began dreaming up what we would put together. I knew I wanted something that brought “Little House on the Prairie” to mind…the simplicity of life during that time in history, and the simple joys. When sweet little Ryleigh came in for a session with me, I knew she was the one I wanted to help bring the dream to life! We found the most perfect grove of flowers, and the yellow blossoms bloomed just in time. Ryleigh was a natural, and although she took my instructions perfectly, much of what you see below was completely her own sweet personality. I loved the lace-up brown boots, which worked perfectly with the gently florals of the dress. She even wore her hair in pigtails, bringing my vision and this inspiration to these images!
