Scout has quickly become one of my favorite babies. She was so calm in her session, which was so fun and went by like a breeze. This little one was full of smiles, which was great for me since her smile was such a pretty thing to capture. Scout looks so cute in purple, and I loved how the colors coordinated so well in the shoot. Scout likes to be active – as active as a baby can be – and loves to swing outside. She loves her sister Sidney too, and her older sibling likes to read to Scout, and play babies with her. They are very affectionate, giving each other lots of hugs and kisses every day! Just 13 months apart, the sisters are already best friends.

Scout has such a sweet personality, and she adapted to whatever her surroundings were with glee. Her smile was infectious, and it quickly spread to her mom and I. She loved the pail we put her in, and the soft sheets of the bed played well against her soft skin. When she was in the pail, I set up the shot to coordinate with her complexion and her hair. The darker purple and the tan cloth underneath tied everything together in one neat, colorful bow. But some of my favorite pictures were of Scout in front of the solid background. Having just one color behind her, it accentuated her own textures, and brought your attention to her gorgeous eyes. Overall, all of us were very happy with the session!
