Moms: they are pretty much always working on something, right? As a wife and mom (and proud grandma) myself, I know us moms wear quite a few hats! The moms who come into my studio, or who book a session for their little one, often come armed with lots of different ideas, and I really love hearing what they want to include in their shoots. This mom had everything planned out, and wanted to include pancakes! Yes, pancakes! The delicious breakfast food that everyone loves…well, her little one loves them, and she thought it would truly make him happy! Of course, moms are always right! Little Alec was turning one, and he sure loved his pancake surprise. He is an extremely fun and happy little boy, and the “flapjacks and lumberjack” theme came out so well.
“Alec is very sweet and loving”, explains mom, “He loves to eat, loves his dogs, and enjoys learning new things. We have really enjoyed his first year, and watching him learn to walk. His dad and brother are the ones he loves playing with!” For his special one-year session, we used a little teepee prop, and set it up with metal letters that spelled his name, and two buffalo-plaid deer! His suspenders and jeans, paired with a coordinating buffalo shirt, were just too handsome and creative. Alec is a well-loved one year old, and I can’t wait to watch him grow!
