I’m no magician, but I sure do try to accommodate all the dreaming of the parents who come through my doors. We have done everything from a train session, to a lumberjack session (complete with flapjacks), to a “wild one” theme. The parents keep coming up with more fun ideas, and I love planning and designing right along with them. Whether I or the proud mom or dad come up with the inspiration, we always work together to bring it to life. So, this little “girly girl” inspired us to do a feminine, pink themed session with hints of gold and plenty of sparkle. Savannah turned one, and was the sweetest, happiest little girl.

“We call her ‘sissy’, because she is the little girl I always wanted, and I am so grateful to God for sending her to me”, says mom, “Savannah loves music and dancing, and especially watching Frozen, the movie. She thinks everything her dad does is hilarious, and brightens up every day. She is full of smiles and laughs, and is the perfect caboose to our family.” For her shoot, we did a simple white setup to accent her pink, ruffly outfit, and then did a more elaborate, gold and pink themed birthday setup, complete with a rosette smash cake. This little girl loved the cake (although that tutu may never be the same 😉 and it made us all smile. I have a feeling that she will be making plenty of people smile for her whole life!
