If I could sum up my client experience, I hope that it would be with the word “involved”. I love being involved, from the ground level, all the way through the session! I also love trying new things, being creative, and helping parents plan out the things they want for their session. Cake smash sessions are some of my favorite, because they always have such an excitement over their child turning one, and it becomes so very special. I also enjoy the “hunt”: the search for the props and items that will complete the look.

Charli recently turned one, and her mom was so excited for an idea that she had seen in another recent shoot of mine. Some clients come to me with everything planned out, and others want me to help guide them. I work well in both instances, and love every client and their inspirations. Charli’s mom loved the idea of bright, clean whites, and plenty of pretty florals for her precious little girl. We incorporated hanging glass vases filled with fresh flowers, and added some spring touches. Charli is a smiley, happy little girl, who really stole our hearts! Mom says that some of her favorite things right now would be playing with her friends, playing peek-a-boo, and eating. She likes the show “Puppy Dog Pals”, and has a very outgoing, extroverted personality…she never meets a stranger! “She barely even cries”, says mom, “She greets everyone with her favorite word HEY, and has recently begun to walk. Some days are tough, as any parent knows, but she makes every moment worth it!”
