Brayton’s mama got hands-on for this session…she made this darling tent, and created the setup! She’s clearly very talented, as well as being a very loving and doting mother. Her little man is very sweet and smiley, and he recently celebrating the big milestone of turning one. For his cake smash, we did this sweet red and blue theme, with a retro Coca-Cola theme. Brayton’s mom says, “Some of his favorite things are to play peek-a-boo, by putting his blanket over his head! He likes to sit at the front door and talk to his puppies outside, and he loves his big brother…he thinks everything is hilarious!” Brayton also loves to eat, especially pickles! “Taking him out to eat is interesting because he wants to know what is going on at the tables around us”, she continues, “He is very happy though, and is always smiling or laughing”.

Mom also explained to me how determined her little boy is; and he was a fighter from the moment he was born. He arrived fifteen weeks premature, and only weighed one pound, ten ounces. He amazingly has grown perfectly since then, and has met all his milestones, even after 96 days in the NICU. He surprised his medical caretakers by not having any major setbacks during his early days. He is a miracle baby, and even was able to go home before his due date. “We were definitely blessed and we are so thankful!”, adds mom. I loved celebrating such a special little boy with his family, and hope these photos really remind them of all they’ve overcome.
