If elegance had a name, it’d be Hannah. We had such a lovely time in her session, and the location that we visited is going to go down in the books as one of my favorites! We went to The Secret Garden in Sulphur, Louisiana, a wonderful destination for everyone seeking magical portraits, or special senior sessions like Hannah’s. The beauty of the gardens matched her perfectly, and we loved the great variety they had all in one location. We loved chatting during the shoot, and I asked her what she’d like to do after she graduates, and she said that she’d like to be a designer. No wonder! I loved her sense of style, and each of the outfits that she brought to wear looked just gorgeous. I’d say she has a very successful future ahead of her!

We had most of the session outdoors in the gardens, and each spot that we chose had its own unique mood and feel to it, and made for a perfect backdrop in Hannah’s portraits. There were even scenes set up, as you’ll see in the shot with her at the red table in a cottage setting, or the natural awning area with the cute hanging jars and lights. There were so many options, we wanted to try them all! But the star of each shot was Hannah, and her brilliant smile. She was stunning in each of the venues, so much so that I don’t think it was possible for her to look anything less. Some of my favorite spots in The Secret Garden were the elegant tea setting, the lovely archway covered with greenery, and the lush and flowery gardens themselves. The possibilities were endless!

Hannah made the session so effortless and natural, and you can see what I mean in the photos below. It’s like she’s been doing it for years! I loved that she wanted her sister in her session too, you can really see they care a lot for each other. It’s those sorts of special moments that I live to capture, and there were so many in Hannah’s session. I wish her all the best in her bright future!
