What a year! We have met so many incredible clients, and welcomed back so many amazing ones that come to see us every year. We have watched tiny babies grow into beautiful toddlers, we have seen families gather for big reunions, and dreamed up more special, styled shoots than we ever dreamed possible! Here are some of our year-end highlights, if you missed them!

Circus Themed One Year Old Session: I still dream about this energetic Greatest Showman inspired shoot that I simply adored. Mom put a ton of work into the intricate props, vintage inspired attire, and the sparkly letters. It was one of the most detailed sessions we did, and perfectly fit for the darling one year old we were celebrating. You can read about Grasyn’s shoot by clicking the link above.

Fruit bath sessions: We did lots of twists on the traditional milk bath sessions with strawberry and lemon fruit baths like this one.  I loved dreaming up different types and ideas, and seeing the little ones really enjoy themselves (especially in the warm weather!). The parents really loved them too!

Mentoring: I really learned and grew in my craft from some of my mentoring sessions. Working with world-class photographers helped me gain new techniques and stay committed to the very best work. I worked with Son Kissed Photography and Buffalo Baby, who both taught me new tricks and kept me inspired. I am so grateful to both of those amazing women for mentoring me and keeping my love of learning fresh!

We did lots of Daddy and Me and Mommy and Me mini sessions, which are always a highlight of the year. We meet lots of amazing moms and dads who enjoy this one on one time with their little ones. I love that it’s a special take on the traditional photo session for large families…you will never regret having a photo with each of your children by themselves. It’s also a fun idea for parents who travel or are deployed in the military, because it’s a very special keepsake.Thank you all for such a wonderful year!
