August was such a whirlwind for me! It was a very busy month here at my studio, with tons of sweet babies making their arrival, including this little cutie. She was adorable and petite, and I am so grateful we were able to make these photos happen. Miss Ella made her appearance an impressive five weeks early, at just five pounds, seven ounces. She was a fighter, and was only in the NICU for ten days, then she was able to go home with her very proud parents. They were thrilled to welcome her!

Mom and dad put tons of work into her very beautiful nursery, which was pink, rose gold, and white, but unfortunately, it was flooded in our recent storms here in Texas. I know they will be ready to recreate it soon, though! They love being first time parents to their amazing little girl, and mom adds, “She really has made us realize that material things don’t matter! We love watching her grow and learn new things, and are very thankful”. Ella had the most beautiful little lips and nose, and a full head of hair. I loved styling this vintage, floral session (and how adorable is that baseball glove??), and particularly enjoyed meeting this wonderful family. I can’t wait to see them again soon.
