What a month it has been! We here at Paula Goforth Photography understand the toll that COVID-19 has on your families, your livelihoods, your work, and your health. It has been and continues to be a challenging time for all of us. We have all had to make adjustments to keep ourselves and our loved ones safe, and I am no different. Although I have suspended my sessions for the safety of myself and the clients I work with, I eagerly look forward to re-opening when the guidelines allow. We are strictly adhering to state and county policies to keep everyone safe!
Although there will be some changes, one thing that hasn’t change is my commitment to cleanliness and sanitation. My studio safety is always our number one priority, but the changes we are making are to prepare our clients and families the things may feel a little more rigid. Please know that this is for your safety and your children’s safety.
Doing the first phase of reopening our studio, we will be implementing the following:
-Studio sessions will be available only to our newborn, little sitters, and one year old sessions. Any other types of shoots, such as family, maternity, or large family shoots with multiple people (including any shoot with multiple people) will be done outside. Our infamous themed mini sessions will be scheduled according to what the guidelines are at that time.
-During the studio sessions, ONLY the baby or child who is the subject of the images and their parents will be allowed in the studio. Please make arrangements for other family members to keep siblings, as they will not be permitted in the studio at all until the VERY end, when we can snap a family photo.
-We are not allowing props from home to be included in the sessions at this time. Rest assured, we have a full client closet and wardrobe for our little babes, and we are happy to provide everything you need! We are also not permitting shoes in the studio, so please wear clean socks in order to keep germs off our floors.
-Before your session, please note that if in the last 14 days, you or anyone in your family has had a fever, sore throat, cough or other illness, you will not be able to enter our studio. Please know this is going to be strictly enforced, and that we will be happy to reschedule your shoot. We will also ask that you disclose if anyone at your workplace has tested positive for COVID-19, and if so, we will discuss the next steps. If anyone (you or family member) has traveled out of the country or state in the last 14 days, you will need to disclose that for the safety of our studio and our clients. Thank you so much for understanding!
