Many parents these days opt to do a cake smash session when their infant turns One! Not only is it a special milestone, it is a fun and memorable experience that babies and parents both enjoy! A cake smash is also the perfect idea for capturing their personality, because those fun little personality traits can truly shine in a session like this!

We suggest having your session booked by the time your baby turns eleven months. This gives us time to discuss inspiration, themes, and ideas with you and make it everything you are hoping for! I always look through my large curated collection of props, decor, and heirloom items to see what we can create together. We have done quite a variety of themes, but I love hearing about new ones, or helping you dream up something special. The sessions come with a three layer “naked” (this means the cakes do not have a huge layer of frosting on the outside and are a more modern, current style). We focus on your sweet babe during the shoot, and I provide an outfit from my client closet for the portrait part of the shoot, then we move to the cake smash segment and let your little one go to town! This is always the best part of the session!
