As parents, we all want to do things in the best interest of our little ones. In fact, it’s our highest priority. As a mom and Nana myself, I understand how safety and low-stress situations are something that many parents value…perhaps none more than brand-new moms and dads. If you’re sleep deprived and exhausted, you want to be able to capture memories, but don’t want to lose your sanity in the process. There are lots of misconceptions when it comes to newborn photos, so I wanted to share three that I have heard, and why they aren’t true for the PGP experience!
“All newborns are placed in unsafe positions to get those posed photos!”
No way! Our tiny client’s safety is our highest priority, and that’s why we have undergone training and mentoring to know how to safely pose your babies. We never force a baby into an unsafe position, and we allow baby to set the tone, leaving plenty of time for feeding or cuddles. Your baby is kept warm, safe, and handled with love!
“Newborn photos are too expensive”
We certainly understand that your investment can feel overwhelming, but our prices are competitive and we give you maximum value for your money! You will never regret choosing an experienced professional with years of newborn shoots on their portfolio, over someone who may be high-stress and still not deliver professional images. If you’re concerned about the price, please reach out to us, so we can share all the benefits of choosing us over our competitors and why it’s such a valuable service!
“Newborn photos are stressful!”
Those first few days with a brand new baby can feel like a lot, which is why our studio is a haven! We have it set up to be warm, welcoming, open to breastfeeding moms, and a place where you can sit back and relax and enjoy the experience. You’re welcome to hold your baby, change them if needed, and even feed them as they sleep and are photographed. We are a non-judgmental, low-stress environment. We want baby to feel peaceful and cared for, and for the parents to feel the same.
