Do you have a studio?

Yes! We can’t wait to welcome you to our studio, located in Azle – the Fort Worth area. We specialize in maternity, newborns (posed and lifestyle), children’s portraits, and family photography!

What locations do you use?

We have multiple locations that are our “go-to” and signature spots. I am not sharing the specifics here because some of them are proprietary to our brand! I have chosen them because of the lighting that works best for the golden hour. These locations are lush with grassy fields, greenery, lakeside water, and plenty of rocks and tree lines.

What do we do if the weather is bad?

Weather can certainly be fickle. I am watching the weather constantly and want to ensure that you have the perfect day for your session! If it rains, we will definitely reschedule. I also take into consideration the wind, clouds, and other weather factors, and will discuss rescheduling based on concerns I may have. I want the best conditions for every session and you can trust me to make the best judgment possible for your shoot!

How long does it take to view and receive our photos?

We know you are very excited to see your photos, and we can’t wait to share them. Turn-around time is 3 weeks. Clients will receive a “soft proof gallery” within a week after the session to select their images and then the final gallery will be delivered within 3 weeks from the date of the session!

How do I know what to wear?

Choosing family photo outfits can be overwhelming. I am happy to assist you in any way that I can, and we also offer our clients access to our exclusive collection of client outfits and wardrobe items. I have spent many months curating our incredible closet, and use of the closet is included in some of our sessions. Please inquire if this is something you are interested in, and I can get you started with the sizes and offerings we have. We offer tons of inspiration on our Instagram and Pinterest pages!

Do you help pose me/my family? We want a mixture of posed and candid photos.

Yes! Many people are worried that they won’t know what to do when it comes to posing, but there is no need to be anxious…I help guide you every step of the way! I am experienced in posing families, children, and newborns, so no matter your age, I will help you work through natural and posed images. This will give you a variety of beautiful photos, and keep your little ones engaged!

What do I need to bring to my family session?

Just you and your loved ones! It is ideal to make sure everyone is well-rested, fed, and clean before your shoot, so if you need to, change little ones into their outfits right before the shoot. Avoid any sticky, colored or messy snacks.

When is the best time to book a newborn session? 

It is really never too early to book a newborn session, because time flies as you are preparing to welcome a baby! I recommend booking with me in the second trimester. This gives you plenty of time, and since our sessions fill up months in advance, ensures that you will be ready when baby makes their appearance. Of course, babies sometimes come early or arrive late, and we are happy to work with you if this happens. We understand due dates are not always certain 🙂 

How old should baby be for a newborn session? 

We highly recommend that baby be between 7 and 14 days old for a posed newborn session. We know that every delivery and recovery is unique to mom/baby, so we can alternately work with babies up to 8 weeks by doing a lifestyle session, which is not the same as a posed newborn session, but allows you to still capture this time.

What do I need to gather and bring to my shoot?

You, your baby, and your preferred feeding method (bottle or breastfeeding is always welcomed in our studio). We do the rest! We have a gorgeous and extensive collection of props, wraps, headpieces, and more to make your session gorgeous and customized. We allow plenty of time and a welcoming space for you and baby. 

Are you a trained professional? How do I know baby is safe? 

Your baby’s health is our top priority. That’s why I have completed multiple courses detailing newborn posing, safety, and more. I have been serving my clients for ten years now, and I want every parent and baby to feel safe and loved. I have been trained and mentors by some of the premier newborn instructors and photographers in the world, as well as completing additional online training courses. I do two large-scale mentorships or workshops per year, as well. 

Do you offer prints and digitals for your sessions? I don’t know how to turn my images into products.

Yes! We offer professional, heirloom quality printing for all of your amazing images. This includes prints and canvases in multiple sizes, perfect to display in your home or nursery. 

What is the booking process like?

You will fill out my contact form on my website, and I will send you the information that you have requested based on the type of session you are inquiring about. To book the session, the agreement form, questionnaire and the retainer fee MUST be paid to secure the date/time on my calendar. Once this is done, we are set to go in planning your rest of your session.
