I definitely don’t take it for granted that the most amazing parents trust me with their biggest milestones! Celebrating a milestone like the first birthday is a huge step and something to be documented and enjoyed. This is Elani, who recently turned one year old. She is just like her name, “light”, and has brought her family immense joy and fun. Her mom describes her as loving to sing, play with her food, and go to the zoo. She also enjoys spending time with her family singing “The Itsy Bitsy Spider”! She has adorable cheeks and big brown eyes that have so much personality. To see her grow and learn is what her parents are cherishing most about these days.

Why do we offer multiple setups in many of our shoots? Simple. We love showing multiple aspects of a little one’s personality and having a clean white backdrop is a good way to show off their smiles and personality, while a setup with props and a theme lets them explore and have fun, too. Doing multiple backdrops also gives our clients more than one thing to choose from and enjoy, and can offer them different scenes that suit their home or nursery.
