“The days are long, but the years are short.” As a wife, mom, and Nana, this quote has always resonated deeply with me. I know just how quickly those precious moments fly by. Life is full of “firsts”—the first smile, the first steps, the first day of school—and they deserve to be remembered. As a photographer, my heart is in capturing those milestones so families can hold onto them forever. Let me share why these moments are so important to me and why they’re worth treasuring:

Cherishing the first days: Well, as you know, there’s nothing quite like those first few days with your newborn. Everything feels so new and overwhelming, yet full of love and awe. Capturing your baby in those early moments; the tiny fingers, the delicate lashes, and that peaceful, sleepy look, is all about freezing time. That first year is such a whirlwind of changes and growth, and their birthday is a perfect chance to pause and reflect on all the joy they’ve brought into your life. Plus, those cake smash photos? They’re always a hit, and parents rave over them.
