I absolutely loved this little girl’s name, and it has such a special meaning! When they began thinking of baby names, they knew they wanted something that had to do with nature, and the name evoked memories from their family’s lake cottage in Michigan. I love that there is a piece of family history woven into her beautiful name, and her middle name (Jean) is after her grandfather, Gene. This sweet family has welcomed three beautiful girls, and they feel so lucky have all daughters.

Mom shared that they have especially loved the little newborn sounds (those adorable little squeaks and snorts), and being able to have such special bonding time. Big sisters Ember (age 4.5), and Remy (age 1.5) have fallen head over heels for their newest addition and they enjoy giving her plenty of hugs and kisses. The teal theme (below) was one of my very favorites of her session, because the color is so bold and unexpected, yet polished. And of course, we can’t have a session for a brand-new baby girl without some pretty pink shades.
