Oh, what a special year it was. Although this last year was certainly challenging to those who brought a baby into the world, it also allowed so much time to bond and love on those brand-new little ones. Sloane’s mom adds, “The most challenging thing has been navigating parenthood through COVID-19. We want to show her off to the world, but also protect her at all costs. She has been a real trooper through her first year of life, and we are so proud of her.” Sloane Marie was named after her grandmother and aunt, who also share the name Marie.

“We love watching her grow and learn so much every day”, continues mom, “She loves to explore and seeing the world through her eyes is the best. Her favorite foods are avocado, berries, peanut butter, and squash. She loves going up and down on the stairs, and prefers to be outside!” She is one smart little girl, and can sign and say lots of words. She has recently learned to walk, and is definitely on the go! Sloane has an adorable, silly, and joyous personality, and always makes her loved ones laugh.
