I am one of those people you might call a “baby person”! Obviously, this is helpful for my line of work, but I have loved babies and children for as long as I can remember. Newborn snuggles make me swoon, the joy in a nine month old’s giggle makes my heart soar, and celebrating the first year of life with families just bring me so much happiness. Babies are an amazing gift that we have been given to love and care for. I love the scripture that says, “Train up a children in the ways he should go and he will not depart from it”. What an awesome responsibility we have as parents to train, to teach and to instruct our kids in the perfect ways of our God. Each child that comes to my studio; I pray over them and hope that they will have a bright future and a hope, and that they will prosper in all that they do!
Indeed, I said a prayer for this sweet little one, Harrison Kingsley when I met him in my studio. He made his arrival in February, and his mom Kristyn says, “I had no idea what kind of mother I would be, and when I found out I had to have an emergency C-Section because of complications, I was so afraid. He spent four days in the NICU, but seeing him grow and thrive now has truly been a blessing. He’s such a happy baby, and when he wraps his little arms around my neck, he makes me feel that I am doing a good job. Being a parent is a blessing, and we are so thankful to have him as our firstborn.”
What a precious story, and one I know these parents will always look back on with gratefulness for a healthy baby. Harrison is so loved, and was such a sweet little subject for this newborn session!
He is such a darling. The poses you selected are unique. I especially love the last four.
