Curiosity: it’s one of the things I love the most about meeting with two year olds! They are sure ready to engage the world around them. These little ones are also the ones who are easily (and adorably) distracted by the wayward butterfly, a passing car, or our various props. Although some photographers might find this challenging, I love it. As a mom and grandma myself, I really enjoy spending time with toddlers, and capturing them in a real environment (like being outdoors). These shoots always turn out to be way more fun than I imagine, and the parents or guardians love it too. Winston was thrilled to join me at the local nursery Cottage Cuttings (you can find them HERE), where we did his two year old session. He really loved exploring, chasing the chicken around, and yes, he did stop and flash his darling smile for me!
“Winston LOVES trains, trucks and football!”, shared mom, “He is very smart, talkative, and has an independent mind of his own. Although he will occasionally test his limits, he is so sweet and lovable.” One of the things his mom added is that they love watching his little personality come out more every day, and how rewarding that is. I think I got an extra workout in while following him around the nursery, but we sure had fun. How cute is the little wagon? Perfect for this little explorer. No matter where you want to do your session, I can help you plan out the best location for your child…one that will keep them happy and engaged with their surroundings, and keep you from stress about the shoot. I love what I do, and work hard so all of my clients feel at ease…even the smallest ones!
Happy second birthday, Winston! I can’t wait to see you again soon!
