“Children of the same family, the same blood, with the same first associations and habits,
have some means of enjoyment in their power,
which no subsequent connections can supply.”– Jane Austen
I truly can’t say enough about how wonderful it was to meet this precious family. They were so sweet, and I feel honored and thrilled to have had the opportunity to capture their little guy. I look forward to being there for more special moments, since they booked my “Hello World-Memories Milestones” Baby Plan! Big brother was also there, and it was really darling to see their bond…he was very proud of his little brother.
Tripp was born on December 28th, at an impressive 8lb, 4 ounces, and was 19.5 inches long. “The most rewarding part of being a mom are all the little moments”, his mom told me, “I love when Tripp snuggles under my neck to go to sleep, or my three year old gives me a kiss and tells me I Love You, Mommy. It’s the little things like that, that get you through the hard days as a mom. During my pregnancy, Noah (big brother) was not too excited, but once Tripp was born, he took on the role of big brother perfectly. One of my favorite pastimes now is watching them interact with each other…hopefully the love with last when he starts getting into his stuff!” We had a great time, and Tripp and Noah were both champs! I love to give my families a variety of photos of baby by themselves (since that’s primarily what a newborn shoot is for)…but we also snag shots of siblings, families, and parents when we can. You’ll want to look back on those moments in years to come!
“I could have not asked for a more perfect scenario. If I could give her 10 stars, I would! First and foremost, she squeezed us in with a week’s notice and was able to work with my fiancé’s work schedule. As far as the shoot, I didn’t have to worry about one thing from planning his outfits or back drops. This was perfect for me as I can never make up on my mind on anything. However, none of these reasons is why I was impressed. From the beginning of the shoot till the end, my son was her main focus. Her patience and kindness with my son(and me!) is what made the shoot go so smoothly. Anyone can take pictures, but her passion truly showed off camera as took her time with each pose to get the perfect shot. She would snuggle Tripp or leave her hand on his foot till her was calm or in the perfect position. Every question and extra pose I wanted done she gladly did, even when Tripp seemed restless (which then she was able to settle him down and pose him for the photo.) If you are going to use Mrs. Paula for a newborn shoot, I can honestly say you are in wonderful hands and she will put your mind at ease. I am so happy that I came across her name. I am not one that is easily impressed or pleased and I was both with her. I can not find one negative thing to say and can’t wait to use her again! I’m already smitten with our previews and can’t wait to see more. Thank you so much again Mrs. Paula, you truly are a baby whisperer!” -Tripp’s mom, after their session
