Isn’t she just a doll? This little cutie came to me for her newborn session at just eleven days old. She was as sweet as can be, and just an angel (as her parents can attest, I’m sure…they are so in love with her!). We incorporated delicate, pretty lace into her session, which is one of my favorite things. The dainty details really accentuated her feminine features and beautiful little lips!
Brooklyn Kate was born on February 3rd, at 5lbs, 10 ounces. Her mom says, “The most rewarding thing about being a mom is watching them grow. Seeing a little fragile baby grow, and become their own person with unique likes and dislikes and opinions…that is amazing.” These are words from a mom who truly knows what it is like to cherish her time with her children. In 2011, they lost a daughter who was born at just 22 weeks. Mom calls her son and Brooklyn their “rainbow babies”, and cherishes the time getting to watch them blossom into who they are meant to be! That’s why I love their family photo towards the end of the session (below). It shows the beautiful love between them, and celebrates the joy of their family in this precious season.
“A mother is not defined by the number of babies you see, but by the amount of love in
her heart. Rainbow babies are a beautiful reminder of the love of a family and
the joy to be found in newness and life”. -Franchesca Cox
