This blog has been awhile in the making, but I am sure excited to share it with you today…it’s a story of family, tradition, and legacy. The photos feature this adorable newborn, Ford, but his history starts much earlier…this adorable baby’s lineage is filled with football! In fact, it just might run in his blood. His grandfather and great-grandfather share the honor of being among just a handful of fathers and sons who played in the AFL for the same team: The New York Jets. Ford’s grandpa was drafted in 1984, and he played in the league for ten years as a quarterback, starting for both the New York Jets and the Miami Dolphins. His great-grandfather also earned stints on the San Francisco 49ers, and the Baltimore Colts. I enjoyed listening to this family’s background, their love for football, and their love for God.
Ford’s mommy was so proud, and beaming with love and joy! She says the journey to parenthood was long and difficult, adding “We really thought getting pregnant would never happen for us. When we found out we were pregnant, we had a December 25th due date. I just knew that this was a sign from God. Our little boy is truly a miracle, because it took so long to get to this point, it just makes every little moment so much sweeter. We wouldn’t trade this for anything. Josh and I are having the time of our lives!” I could barely stand his sweet little nose and the tiny dimples in his hands…what a sweetheart. We did a neutral toned, more traditional shoot with some fun props and settings thrown in there, and of course, included mom and dad and even a multigenerational shot. This shoot was a celebration of family, and this sweet little boy has a wonderful one.
