Watching parents interact with their little ones is a true joy. Moms and dads that bring in their little ones are so proud, and always want to show me the things their little one does well. “Clap your hands!”, “smile and laugh!”, “Can you show her your wave?” These exclamations make my job as a photographer easier, of course, but they also show me a special side of parenting. The pride and joy of parents shows me how much their babies are loved, and reveals an unbreakable bond…the bond of family. The way a family interacts with each other is always unique; some families laugh and crack jokes, others lovingly exchange sweet glances, and still others are serious and consider portraits to be really sacred. I love working with all types, and always want to help them put forth their true personalities.

This family in particular was so loving with their daughter Blayke, and I could have watched them play with her all day long! We used a clean, simple backdrop (which has become one of my personal favorites, because of the way it accents any skin tone, style, or colors that are placed in front of it). After we captured their whole family, this little darling had a milk bath, which she loved. “Blayke never meets a stranger.. everywhere where we go she always waves and says hi to everyone. She is definitely friendly and loves to be on the go”, adds her mom, “She is our little miracle baby .. we worked very hard to get pregnant with her. God knew we needed her. As husband and wife, we thought life was perfect even without her and now that we have her, we realized our happiest life is just now beginning. She brings such joy to us and our whole family!”
