It’s not too often that a mother-to-be has newborn photos done just days away from having her baby, but Miss Scarlett Rose made her appearance not long after we captured her in the womb! What a sweet baby, with loving parents who couldn’t wait to meet her (and I guess she was eager to meet them, too 🙂 As parents, they have been preparing for her birth for quite some time, and have had a great time decorating a customized nursery for their daughter. “Her room is our favorite in the house”, explained mom, “It is a very peaceful room. She has a beautiful, golden wood accent wall that her daddy worked so hard on. It has a light grey on the walls, with touches of neutral cream on her teepee, chandelier, and rocking chair. We added a few dream catchers, and the softest floral paintings that tie it all together”.

I could hardly contain myself, getting to meet such a darling baby girl and styling her newborn shoot. I curate every wrap, prop, and headpiece for the individual client, which means no two sessions are the same. For Scarlett, we did lots of pretty neutral tones to go with their nursery decor, and I think they will look amazing as prints or canvasses to accent the hard work they have already done. Of course, we did add in some elegant shades of pink, and a few backlit images as well.  “It’s so hard for me to say just one thing that has bene rewarding as a parent…I am just so honored that God has blessed me by being her momma. Becoming a parent is the greatest blessing from God, and it’s a joy to see her grow every day. She is learning all kinds of new, exciting things, and we can’t wait to see her go to the ocean, or get her first puppy”, adds mom, “I am especially looking forward to Christmas this year, because everything has a whole new meaning now. We can’t imagine our lives without her”.
