I was so excited that Emma reached out to me again to take her and Matt’s photos. This is a couple who I met a few years ago, when we captured their engagement session. It has been a joy to walk alongside them in different seasons of their life together, and this time, they requested that we include some photos of their beautiful new home. When I drove up, I was in awe of their adorable house, and maybe just a touch jealous! It was beautiful and in the most perfect location. We had a few threats of raindrops during the session, but we didn’t let that stop us. My husband accompanied me to this shoot, and noticed a rainbow at the end! I couldn’t help but take advantage of the beauty and promises that we have been given. I love that the last image of the session ended with such a beautiful reminder that God promises to be with us always!
Matt and Emma are a close-knit couple who love being together. Some of the things they enjoy most are working together around the farm, going antique shopping, and re-finishing furniture for their lovely farmhouse. Matt is a captain for the Beaumont fire department, and enjoys going hunting and fishing, while Emma is a realtor who does barrel racing on the side (which is such a fun fact about her!). This stunning pair has been married for over two years. When it came time to house hunt, they explained this was the third house they looked at, and they fell right in love with the views, the mature oak trees, and the pond. You can see some of their horses and their beloved pups, as well as pieces of their stunning property in the images. I hope they have these images to mark such a special milestone (purchasing their home), and I can’t wait to meet up again soon!
