“She was worth the wait”, beams mom, “We are moved every day by the incredible gift that Lydia is to us!” I loved working with this family to capture baby Lydia’s first year through my memories and milestones plan. One of the many perks of choosing to document the whole first year, is that we always try to capture the family together, usually around the nine month mark. We go outdoors, and have some fun bonding together and celebrating such a fun age. Lydia is learning and growing so quickly, and her parents are head over heels for her little smiles and giggles (I admit, I was totally captivated, too!). Mom dressed her in the cutest little outfit, and their coordinating ensembles were perfect for this shoot.

“Lydia’s current favorite thing to do is wave hello and goodbye to her family”, adds her mom, “she loves to babble about her day, and is now pulling up and cruising around the house while holding onto anything and everything in her path. She also loves to play ‘crawl and chase’ with her daddy, and sing and dance with me.” This precious trio also enjoys spending time all together, and enjoying life’s simple moments, like sitting on their back porch together and ending the day with a beautiful sunset. This active nine month old is so sweet, and loves to gather information about everything around her. If you ever meet her, you will find out that she loves to laugh and play, and that this is the funnest age. “My husband and I were part of the club who had children later in life, and we often look at each other and marvel that she is ours. Not that we forget, but more that we are amazed by the gift that we have been entrusted with, to love, cherish, nurture, and help grow. Her smiles and cuddles and gentle love melts our hearts. What a gift!”
