Picture this: a radiant couple, eagerly awaiting the arrival of their brand-new baby. Emily, with her due date set for mid-April, walked into my studio beaming with excitement, her husband Travis right by her side.Their love was palpable from the get-go. You could see it in the way they looked at each other and in the little gestures they shared…Travis couldn’t take his eyes off Emily, and she couldn’t stop smiling! It was clear that their bond was strong and filled with anticipation for the new addition to their family. I also loved their modern take on maternity photos, with classic blue jeans and a cool, boho flair.

During the session, I had the pleasure of capturing those intimate moments that you just know will be cherished forever. Emily tenderly caressed her growing belly, while Travis watched with adoration. It was beautiful to witness their connection and excitement about becoming parents, and I know they will thrive as a trio. The mom-to-be also shared some of the highlights of their pregnancy journey, like the exhilarating gender reveal and the magical moment they saw their baby boy yawning during an ultrasound. And can you believe it? They even spent Christmas in Europe when Emily was six months pregnant. Talk about the perfect baby-moon. 

They told me how they communicate through touch, with little brushes of the hand and meaningful hugs and kisses. It was evident that their love language was all about showing affection and support for each other. As we wrapped up the session, I felt grateful to have been a part of their journey. Emily and Travis left hand in hand, ready to embark on this new chapter of parenthood with love and excitement. With April fast approaching, I have no doubt that they’ll be amazing parents, embracing every moment with the same love and tenderness that defines their relationship.
