Remember sweet little Arlee? This was her two year old session, and she’s only gotten more adorable. These days, her family is preparing for a brand new addition, and Arlee is being promoted to big sister to new baby, Millee. This trio cannot wait to become a family of four, and I was thrilled to document this time in their lives as they prepare for a brand new little one. During this pregnancy, mom Kristi has managed to work full-time, earn her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, moved, remodeled their new house, gotten a new job and worked on her classroom as a first year teacher! Talk about a busy mommy….I cannot believe how much she has accomplished, hardly missing a beat while juggling her family and her passions. She does both with grace and aplomb.

Kristi shared that she first felt the baby move around 17 weeks along, and that’s one of her favorite parts of being pregnant. Arlee is thrilled to become a big sister, and although she had been hoping for a brother, she has come around to the excitement of a second little girl in the house. “When she is around other babies who belong to family and friends, she is drawn to them and loves helping with the baby”, adds mom, “We know she will be a wonderful sister.” The family has also been busy preparing the nursery, which features a crib that both Kristi and Kristi’s brothers slept in as babies. The pretty colors they chose include grey, ivory, and neutral tones, and all the furniture is a distressed ivory or mint color. I can tell they’ve taken such care to get everything perfect for this upcoming baby’s arrival.

Although mom and dad are marveling at how fast this pregnancy has gone by, I know we are all eager to meet little Millee. Congratulations to this beautiful family! I can’t wait until we meet again!
