I say it often, but I love my job! This week has been full of getting sneak peeks and full sessions back to clients, and getting to see their reactions is something that gets me through the late nights and long days! I truly find such joy in capturing the sweet, forever memories for the parents and their little ones. They each have their own personalities, even when they are tiny, and it’s most rewarding to see the fresh, brand-new babes and cuddle with them! Of course, getting to see the moms and dads swooning over their precious new ones is also the best.
This is Ella Louise. Her birth was surrounded by some chaotic circumstances, but her parents prevailed and have truly treasured their time with her. When mom was pregnant, their home was flooded, but contractors finished the repairs the day that she was admitted to the hospital to welcome Ella. Before Ella was born, they lost her great-grandmother, who she is named after. “We lost her unexpectedly in January, and I just had to keep a piece of her with us. She was a labor and delivery nurse at the hospital until she retired”, says mom, “The same hospital that Ella was born at, and I like to think she was watching over us during the complications we faced. I also like to think she was with Ella during the 19 days she spent in the NICU in the times I wasn’t. Because of my Mawmaw, my baby was never alone!” Mom adds that they have enjoyed becoming parents and starting their family, and that every time they look at their sweet girl, they feel like they are living their real-life fairytale!
Ella’s room is decorated in vintage Cinderella decor, and it’s fitting for this little princess!
