The special bond of sisters is always something that I treasure. No matter the age distance between sisters, they just share something special and wonderful that I feel lucky to witness each time I photograph them. Little Lusay was recently welcomed to the family, and her big sister Lydia couldn’t be happier. Lydia (named after a band) and Lusay (named for mom’s middle name) are both the sweetest pair, and their parents are really enjoying seeing their personalities emerge. Lydia loves cheers and anime, and little sis is soaking up the cuddles and kisses from mom. “Feeling the unconditional love and being able to teach them and watch them grow is the most rewarding part of being a parent”, adds mom. Although adjusting to a lack of sleep and a new routine is always challenging, this family has done so in a beautiful way.

Little Lusay is adorable and planning her shoot was tons of fun. I used some of my favorite vintage styled props and wraps and beautiful natural tones.
