It’s the time of year when I am editing dozens of sessions each week, and I still never get tired of seeing all the beautiful family images. It makes me so happy when the families who I photograph close to the holidays use their photos for that fun Christmas or holiday card or post. I enjoy being able to play a small part in their traditions and memories and I love when they come back at the same time each year! I get to see their kids grow up and I treasure that. This is the sweetest mama (Sabrina) and her crew. Little Lucy is named after her grandmother, and the name means ‘beam of light’ which is so fitting for her sweet little self. Mom adds, “Little Lucy is a ray of light, and is very happy. She has made becoming parents the most fun, and is always on the go with us. As a 9 month old, she enjoys practicing walking and crawling”. As a trio, they enjoy traveling as a family and have already been to San Antonio, Arkansas, Tennessee and Turkey (a well-traveled little girl!).

Every morning when they go to get her out of her crib, they are treated to plenty of adorable smiles. They enjoy knowing they are “her whole world” and they feel fulfilled by being able to provide a sweet childhood for her. In the spring, they are welcoming a brand new baby girl and Lucy will be a big sister! I hope they return for more beautiful family shots, and can’t wait to meet their new addition.
