The Luningham Family is tightly-knit, kind, and tons of fun. I couldn’t wait to photograph them, and needed the perfect location. This was one of the first times I used a studio that wasn’t my own (special thanks to The Lumen Room) and it was perfect for accommodating this extended family session! In honor of Jenny (the family matriarch), they booked a celebration session for her birthday. Katie Jo and Justin are parents to Lily and James, and Jett and Danielle are parents to sweet Bella. Rounding out their crew is grandfather David and the birthday girl!

As a family, they love trying new restaurants, swimming together, and playing outside. They are warm and truly love spending time together, especially playing with the little ones. They describe their family as, “warm, energetic, active, and fun”, and wanted a variety of photos with the whole family to look back on for years to come. The Lumen Room, which is in Fort Worth, is a historic building with a gorgeous loft aesthetic. I think I will have to use it again soon, because it turned out so beautifully for these images. The space was festive and bright, and matched my modern and signature style.
