What a sweet, sweet family this one is. They have a contagious love for one another that is both beautiful and filled with joy. I was so happy to spend the day with them at a local park, where their little ones were free to run and play. Family sessions always allow me a little peek into the day-to-day life of each one I photograph, and this one was no exception. Although they say they’re “kind of boring” and that they love to stay at home instead of hitting the town, they were really so much fun to be around. They’ve overcome some challenges, as they have adjusted to one of their sons having epilepsy, and also moving twice, back to back. “We are finally getting to the point where life is enjoyable again”, says mom, “We love duck hunting, and being at home together”. I loved their very seasonal look, with bits of plaid, brown, and greens woven in. They looked so comfortable and also really stylish! Mom’s plaid wrap was so cute.
I really enjoyed meeting these four, and I know they will treasure these photos for years to come. Although they’ve had challenging years recently, I hope they look back on these photos and remember the happiness instead of the challenges. Family photos can really commemorate times in our lives, and even when times are hard, they can still capture the joy and love that can be found.
