It’s a rare thing, but one of the most wonderful things, to grow with your client. I’ve been a part of the Davis family’s life at each of their milestones: maternity, newborn, their girl Everly’s first year, and now, their family session! I have so enjoyed the journey, and they’ve only grown more beautiful as time has passed. We all had such a great time on our session, and the location was perfect for the Davis’.

They said, “We love to be outside! We like to bring Everly to the park, or to Lamar’s campus to see the ducks. But one of our favorite places is just at home, in our backyard.” The forest greenery looked great as a backdrop for this gorgeous family, and the sunlight was equally wonderful. Little Everly so loved being on daddy’s shoulders, and she and mommy make quite the pretty pair. Everly spent most of the time exploring the forest floor, feeling the grass and examining the pine cones.

Being new parents, mom and dad have been learning so much, and loving it all. “The most rewarding thing about being a parent,” mom said, “is watching your child learn and discover something new. Will and I love watching Everly grow, and never expected parenting to be so much fun!” I got to see this joy during their session, and capturing it in their photos was a breeze. I hope to be their go-to for their next milestone, and wish them all the joy and happiness in the world!
